The P-l has a single-cutaway, 14” lower bout, multi-chambered Genuine Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, a 5 piece laminated neck of Eastern Hard Maple and Genuine Mahogany, and a contemporary 6-saddle, T-style bridge. It also features a Suhr SSV humbucker in the neck position, and a Suhr Classic T in the bridge. The neck-to-body fastening method (found on all of my guitars) of ¼-20” chrome-plated steel connector bolts, coupled to solid brass threaded inserts, not only give the strongest possible mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones and harmonics. The neck mounting method combined with the multi-acoustic chambers make the P-1 extremely resonant and lively... it's very acoustic. The stock instrument has front and back body contours, and bass-justified, Mother of Pearl fret position markers.

The P-lSV has a single-cutaway, 14” lower bout, solid 2-piece Ash body, a 1-piece, ¼ sawn, Eastern Hard Maple neck (plus fretboard), and a vintage T-style bridge with compensated saddles. It also features a Suhr SSV humbucker in the neck position, and a Suhr Classic T in the bridge. It was designed for a more traditional solid body electric tone than the P-1. The neck-to-body fastening method (found on all of my guitars) of ¼-20” chrome-plated steel connector bolts, coupled to solid brass threaded inserts, not only give the strongest possible mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones and harmonics. The stock instrument has front and back body contours, and bass-justified, Mother of Pearl fret position markers.
