The AJ
Description
The AJ (named after my son, Adam John) has a single-cutaway, 13” lower bout body, and an Eastern Hard Maple neck available with multiple fretboard options that feature a 12” radius and 22 Jescar .047” x .095” Nickel Silver frets. The machine screw and threaded Brass insert neck-to-body fastening method not only gives an amazingly strong mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones. The instrument also features my bass-justified top dots for improved playing visibility and front and back contours for playing comfort. The core model AJ has a reverse angle, vintage T-style bridge with 3 compensated Brass saddles, a P-90 in pickup the neck and a T-style in the bridge, master volume and tone controls, with a 3-position lever switch.

The AJK
Description
The AJ-K has a single-cutaway, 13” lower bout, exotic wood body, highly figured top (with matching peghead), a 1-piece, ¼-sawn, Eastern Hard Maple neck with an Ebony fretboard, and a JP Woodtone Deluxe hard-tail bridge. It also features 2 Suhr SSV humbucking pickups. The neck-to-body fastening method (found on all of my guitars) of ¼-20” chrome-plated steel connector bolts, coupled to solid brass threaded inserts, not only give the strongest possible mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones and harmonics. The stock instrument has front and back body contours and NO fret position markers.
