BARITONE GUITARS
Explore new sonic depths with the John Page Guitars baritone AJ and DL. Featuring a 27” scale length and tuned lower than standard (typically B to B or A to A), it delivers a rich, thunderous voice that lives between guitar and bass, while still feeling instantly familiar in your hands.
I love this instrument so much. It’s so pleasing. It’s almost piano-like—I just want to play lush chords on it all day. John Page Guitars are so well made, they feel so good in your hands, you just want to play it.
This is the finest baritone I've ever played. I've played many. But this is the first one I've ever played, as a guitar plays who doesn't normally play baritone—where it inspires me, and I want to write, and I want to riff and come up with ideas. This one does it. It's so comfortable, it doesn't even feel like the scale length is 27". It feels like 25.5"—it feels like strat scale. I could just play this all day. Whereas most baritones I play they feel like a burden and I lose interest after awhile.
It’s real punchy. The frequency response of it is very round—you get all the warmth and low end with some bite on the top end.
Best feeling baritone I've ever played—nice and thin. Doesn't feel much different from a regular guitar.
It has a ton of clarity within the low end which is something I’m always looking for, because I like an absurd amount of low end with fuzz. And usually that gets muddy pretty quickly, but this guitar has never gotten muddy on me. It’s got a ton of clarity. The neck has a nice thickness to it and I just love this thing. Thanks John Page!
The Secret Sauce? Still John Page.
Bloodline® by John Page Pickups
I’ve worked really hard to design my guitars to create a specific acoustic tonal character, so it’s important for me to use pickups that duplicate that appropriately.

JP-1
Bloodline® JP-1 pickups bring the sonic perspective and character of John Page, among the world’s greatest living custom luthiers, to your guitar. They have a classic early 60’s S-style tone - stringy with great clarity, full and meaty but not overly hot. In John’s words, “It’s time to start feeling your guitar as well as hearing it – and my Bloodline® JP-1 pickups can help."

JP-3
The JP-3P has a really nice, full bottom end, with punchy mids and a clean top end. It has a bit more clarity than is normally associated with a P-90, and no mud! It’s a nice thick sounding single coil. The JP-3T pays homage to a classic T-style bridge pickup. It’s clean and snappy, but roll the tone off a bit and turn up the volume and it’ll give you all the punch and growl you need.
